Unibond one is a one part pva adhesive specifically designed and formulated for wood veneering and laminating providing a extra hard glue line long open work time and will block bleed through on commercially sliced veneers. Exceptionally thin veneers may allow the adhesive s color to telegraph. Unibond 800 is a two part urea formaldehyde liquid resin glue. Unibond won t cold creep like some pva glues so complex veneer projects and curved work are safe.

Unibond 800 has been formulated to provide the same bond quality at room temperature making it an excellent choice for vacuum pressing or clamping. This is important when working with veneers and laminations in which the adhesive might be visible. These glues are pretty nasty and you might be best served considering other options. The two brands i use are dap weldwood and unibond 800.
