Starting in 2014 the scout had 125mm of rear travel and a 140mm fork. The scout has been in the transition lineup for years and the newest model is the third generation of the 27 5 inch bike. In comparison to the prior scout the new bike features a slacker 64 head tube angle prior 65º the bike reach is 10mm longer has more tire clearance and a broader sag range. The scout comes with 140mm of travel in its stock form but by swapping to a longer stroke shock riders can achieve 150mm of travel.
